Domestic violence act of india is Against Men !!

Domestic violence act of india is Against Men !!

This website attemps to explain the future disastrous results of badly formulated and gender biased law Domestic violence against women law - 2005 which grossly violates the liberty and dignity of an average man and his family members. Anyone who is educated and reads the guidelines of the law can see how vicious this law is and what it's social implications will be.

On the face of it, the law appears to be a blessing for people in abusive or violent relationships. However, a careful analysis reveals that, under the ploy of “women and children welfare”, this law is yet another misguided attempt to enact legislation to grant women legal supremacy over men and to create a society where men are deprived of their rights.

There are three fundamental problems with this law – a) it is overwhelmingly gender biased in favor of women, b) the potential for misuse is astounding and c) the definition of domestic violence is too expansive.

The DV act singles out men as perpetrators of domestic violence and assumes that only women are victims. As per this law, only a woman can file a complaint against her male partner. A man, who is a victim of domestic violence, has no rights under this law. The fact is that it has been comprehensively proven in numerous studies [please see references] that women are no less abusive as men in intimate relationships. Giving such sweeping legal powers to women while withholding protection to male victims is tantamount to systematic legal victimization of men. In the western world, the domestic violence laws are gender neutral and provide protection to the victims, both men and women. The fact that the Indian version explicitly prohibits any male victim to seek relief under this law defies all logic and is beyond comprehension.

The second significant flaw in this law is that it lends itself to such easy misuse that women will find it hard to resist the temptation to “teach a lesson” to their male relatives and will file frivolous and false cases. A similar trend is already being observed in the case of anti-dowry law (498a), which is being misused to such an extent that the Supreme Court has termed it “Legal Terrorism”. To illustrate how easy it is to misuse the DV law, consider the scenarios below. [She means wife/female live-in partner and he means husband/male live-in partner]

a) If she demands any amount of money from him, for any reason whatsoever, he is legally bound to pay that amount in full, failing which he can be imprisoned. Under the pretext of preventing economic abuse of women, this law legalizes the extortion of money by women. Interestingly, if he asks for money from her, he can be jailed for that as well. Furthermore, he is responsible for paying the rent if the couple resides in a shared rented accommodation.

b) As per the law, she retains the right to the residence. This is a very convenient means of getting control of the house regardless of whether she has any legal right on the property. Moreover, if he is booked under DV, he is responsible for paying the rent as well, even though he may not be allowed to live in the house or he might even be in jail.

c) If she decides not to cook and wishes to eat out in a restaurant everyday, he cannot afford not to oblige, lest he invites the DV provision for “not providing food”, for which he could be jailed.

d) If she has an affair and he tries to prevent her from meeting her lover, he could be punished under the DV act, as he is preventing her from meeting someone.

e) He can be booked under the DV act if she feels that she has been insulted. Insult is a relative term, which is totally left to her discretion. Interestingly, if she insults and abuses him verbally or even physically, he does not have any legal recourse in this law

These are just some of the ways in which women can exploit men in a legally permitted manner. The fact that the complaint by a woman will be treated, prima facie, as “true and genuine” opens up a whole new realm of possibilities where innocent men will be accused and implicated in false cases, just because they refuse to give in to her unreasonable demands.

Most people readily agree that the law will be misused. Their counter arguments generally are

a) The number of miuses will be very low OR every law is misused – The objective of any law should be to punish the guilty and protect the innocent. The persecution of innocents cannot be justified in any circumstances. As is the case with 498a, this law will be heavily misused in urban India.

b) If she is happy, then why will she file a complaint – Ah ! So, the man exists at the mercy of the woman. If the wife wants to kick out old parents from home or wants to pursue an affair and should the man dare to object, she can get him incarcerated with alacrity. Any law that forcefully subjects a section of a society to conduct as per the pleasure of another section is deemed oppressive and should be vehemently opposed.

c) There are other provisions to deal with the misuse of this law – The fact is that there are other legal provisions to deal with domestic violence as well. If a strict law is made for a specific purpose, then the provisions for dealing with its misuse should be in the law itself.

The third major flaw in this law is that it provides an all-encompassing definition of domestic violence and some terms (insults, name calling) are extremely subjective. The radical feminists claim that 70% of women in India face domestic violence which comes as no surprise as even an insult is considered domestic violence. Interestingly, they are mum on how many indian men suffer domestic violence using the same criteria. This law strikes at the very foundation of marriage by promoting intolerance and litigation for petty domestic disputes. It is universally recognized that from time to time differences arise in a marriage and sometimes people, both men and women, behave in hurtful ways towards each other. Most people, though, are able to work them out and lead a more or less happy life with their loved one. However, this law makes it very easy to escalate the domestic problems in daily life to such a level that it eventually leads to a breakdown in marriage. Once a man has been accused of domestic violence for a something relatively minor (insult), while he might have been subjected to the same treatment from her, he will perpetually feel threatened by his partner and that is the beginning of the end. This law will lead to more divorces, broken homes and the children will pay the ultimate price by getting deprived of a pleasant childhood.

There are degrees of domestic violence and not all conflicts in a relationship can be termed as domestic violence. This law trivializes the issue of domestic violence by including minor differences in its realm and by explicitly denying protection to half of the population.

The law in its current form is grossly inadequate to tackle the problem of domestic violence. It imposes a lot of responsibility on men, without giving them rights. On the other hand, it gives lots of rights to women without requiring them to be responsible. At the very minimum, it should be made gender neutral, offering protection to both men and women. Also, provisions for stringent punishments need to be incorporated into the law to prevent misuse. Moreover, the law needs to be made more practical by differentiating between various degrees of conflicts and by unambiguously defining what constitutes domestic violence.

The fact is domestic violence is a serious problem and a neutral and unprejudiced law is needed to protect the genuine victims of domestic violence, irrespective of gender. The perpetrators of domestic violence need to be appropriately punished and dealt with. At the same time, protection cannot be withheld from real victims for any reason whatsoever, least of all their gender. One can be certain that there is something sinister about a law, when it intimidates and instills fear in innocent people. When a person who has not committed any crime, begins to fear punishment under the provisions of a law, it is not a law anymore – it is state sponsored terrorism.

WHAT Is The Role of a CAPACITOR in the operation of a CEILING FAN?

In a ceiling fan there is an single phase induction motor.

Single phase stator produces a non rotating, pulsating magnetic field. The single coil excited by a single phase current produces two counter rotating magnetic field phases, coinciding twice per revolution at 0 degrees and 180 degrees. When the phases rotate to 90 degree and -90 degree they cancel. At 45 deg and -45 deg they are partially additive along the +x axis and cancel along the y axis. The sum of these two phases is a phasor stationary in space, but alternating polarity in time. Thus, no starting torque is developed.

So, in order to generate the starting torque we have to split the phase in two. This configuration comprises two windings main winding W1 and auxiliary winding W2, a centrifugal switch SW1 and a capacitor.

The two windings are wound with a geometric offset, effectively making a second set of poles phase shifted within the stator. The capacitor provides a phase shift to the current flowing in W1 and we therefore have a "two phase" motor while the switch is closed. When the motor is almost up to speed, the switch opens disconnecting W1 and the capacitor. The motor can be reversed by reversing the connections of either W1 or W2 (but not both)

The start winding (W1) and the start capacitor provide for a rotating magnetic field in one direction enabling the motor to start.

Connecting Voltmeter, Ammeter and Wattmeter in a circuit

Connecting Voltmeter, Ammeter and Wattmeter in a circuit
Written  by Sunil Saharan

Voltmeter, Ammeter, Watt meter and Energy meter are four pillars of electrical energy and are most important devices used in electrical engineering field. You can't imagine any application in electrical engineering without voltage, current, energy and power measurement. Voltmeter, Ammeter, Watt meter and Energy meter connections and basics are discussed here.
If you are an electrical engineer than you must know how to connect various electrical instruments in a circuit, Specially measuring instruments. The most common instruments or measuring apparatus you must know about are Voltmeter, Ammeter, Energy meter and Watt meter.
Voltmeter : -

Voltmeter is a device that is used to measure voltage or potential difference across two given points. Essentially a voltmeter is nothing but a galvanometer with infinite resistance connected in series . This makes the resistance of an ideal voltmeter infinite .
Voltmeter is connected in parallel, this is shown below : -

As shown in image a voltmeter is connected in parallel or in shunt configuration, due to voltage division in series.
If we connect it in series high resistance of voltmeter will make the circuit insulating and no current will flow and the system will stop working.
Voltage Division in Series
If two resistances are connected in series the voltage given to the complete system is divided across resistances.
Let us consider two resistances with resistance R1 and R2, then total resistance of series configuration will be given by
R = R1 + R2
and Voltage across each resistance is give by
V1 = R1*V/R,
V2 = R2*V/R,
Here,
V1 is voltage across R1 and
V2 is voltage across R2.
The below Figure shows this more clearly.

Ammeter : -
It Measure current ( general term ) or rate of flow of charge ( Technical meaning ) between two points on a conductor.
An Ammeter is connected in series because it has low resistance and current remains same in series so the amount of current flowing through load will be same as that of Ammeter and hence Ammeter will give the exact reading. Connection of an ammeter is shown below with circuit diagram : -

Watt Meter : -
A watt meter Measures power consumed by an apparatus in a given time. Normally watt meter gives reading in watt or kilowatt.
A Watmeter have two coils one is current coil and other is voltage coil. The power is product of Voltage across the load and current flowing through the load i.e. P=V/*I
Connection of watt meter is shown below : -

The Current coil is connected in series as current remains same in series (concept of Ammeter) and potential coil is connected in parallel as voltage remains same in parallel (concept of Voltmeter)
Try to know the various components in the circuit diagram. In this experiment you can see the 'Transformer', 'Wattmeter', 'Ammeter' and 'Voltmeter'.

Making a movie in dual audio or in Hindi

First of all the basic requirements for making a movie in dual audio or in Hindi

1. A HQ quality rip of that movie in English or Any other Language you want which is very easily available on net

2. A Hindi Audio track is provided by here to all of U.

3.Tools which are required for conversion and muxing.

Tools which are required are:-

1. TVC(Total Video Converter) a very useful tool you all must have for conversion and extracting English or Hindi audio tracks from any movie Hindi or English.
2. A Mp3 Splitter & Joiner for editing the audio tracks and I recommend you these to use Visual MP3 Splitter & Joiner

3. A mux which can add any no. of audio tracks in a video file and I recommend you these to use MKVTOOLNIX.
Conversion:-
1. Extract the English audio track from the HQ quality rip of any Language using TVC.OR MKVTOOLNIX

2. Open it in the Visual MP3 Splitter & Joiner and you can see a waveform like patterns as shown below:-

3. Now also open the Hindi audio track of the movie which you download from here.

4. Now after opening both the audio left click on the small display exactly from where the waveform starts. This will give you the starting time of both the audio as shown below.

5. Now calculate the difference between the starting point of both the audio which will be equal to delay for Hindi audio track.
Delay for Hindi audio track=[Starting time of HQ quality rip audio track of any Language Like English or Japanese] - [Starting time of Hindi audio track]

Note:-This will be only applicable if starting of both the movies are same.

6. Now you get the delay for Hindi audio track so start muxing process with this delay.

If its your good luck then there will be no problem further but if its your hard luck then after sometime say after 30,40 or 50 minutes the audio and video again gets out of synchronization.

7.Now what you have to do is point out from where the audio and video gets out of synchronization.

8.After pointing out you have to again check both audio tracks at that point in Visual MP3 Splitter & Joiner to check that whether there is an unaccepted delay in the Hindi audio track and how much it is more from HQ quality rip audio track.

Eg:- Suppose that audio and video gets out of synchronization after 30 minutes because any scene is cutted from the Hindi movie or by some other problem.

First download both parts of audio tracks that i give than combine them whith any converter than merge audio track in your movie with MKVTOOLNIX software.

IP Ratings (Ingress Protection)

IP Ratings (Ingress Protection)

A two-digit number established by the International Electro Technical Commission, is used to provide an Ingress Protection rating to a piece of electronic equipment or to an enclosure for electronic equipment.
The protection class after EN60529 is indicated by short symbols that consist of the two code letters IP and a code numeral for the amount of the protection.
Example: IP65 (NEMA 4)
The two digits represent different forms of environmental influence:
 • The first digit represents protection against ingress of solid objects.
 • The second digit represents protection against ingress of liquids.
The larger the value of each digit, the greater the protection. As an example, a product rated IP54 would be better protected against environmental factors than another similar product rated as IP42.
IP TABLE:

How to stay clear of office politics

How to stay clear of office politics

These two words make the corporate world dirty and murky – Office politics. This is the sad reality, and it exists in proportions across offices. This is no laughing matter. After all a dysfunctional office makes for unhappy employees, high attrition and low productivity. Even then, sometimes you get pulled into without your knowledge and at other times you create a scenario to save your misdoings. When things get out of hand, ask yourself does this really help? You will get the real answer.
“The key to stay clear of office politics is honest communication. Sometimes, people tend to lie or giving excuses when they are caught. Or they try and drag other people to clear their wrong. This only intensifies the situation. So, the best thing to do here is to accept your fault and as an adult give solutions to repair it. This will make your seniors trust you again,” says Sandeep Kaul, director, Whitelight Consulting.
Remember to err is to human. So, if you can accept your flaw and be honest about it, you have nothing to fear. However, don’t make the mistake of discussing office details or expressing your anger in public places like elevators or cafeterias or even indulge in long phone conversations over the phone in the washroom. You never know who is listening in. Though this might be innocence on your part, it could come and backfire if someone decides to use it to their advantage. There is a time and place to vent out your anger.
In such cases mostly the issue is personal. Thus, the key to avoid politics is to associate every problem with the issue and not with the person. “In most cases people tend to get personal. And within no time the issue takes the shape of ego. Thus, starts the pulling down game. So, the key here is to remember that no one really has anything against you,” points our Kaul.
So, if employees don’t use tools against each other and not make an issue or a problem a personal war, offices could be happier places. For instance, employees should realise that emails are used to ease the workflow and not as a charge sheet against a person. “My boss once used an email to pull me down in front of the management. She raised issues and involved everyone senior and junior person on the team. Later, the email backfired on her because the management looked at the issues and pointed out that the issue that was raised was actually the responsibility of my boss and not mine,” says a senior employee (who didn’t wished to be named) of a Mumbai-based IT firm. Thus, you never know how tools can turn against you.
In case you are pulled into the game, be honest, accept your responsibility and get your seniors on your side. “It’s always best to keep your manager in the loop or to have supporter from the senior management. This will only happen if the manager to gain your manager’s trust by being honest,” says Kaul.
Thus, the key to steer out of office politics is to be honest and to work outside of your ego.
